We just have to wait another month before Mario Strikers: Battle League Football will be available on June 10 on Nintendo Switch. Nintendo has a new one on the official Japanese Instagram page intro video shared, showing characters entering the stadium in space through warp portals. In addition to the well-known clips from the first trailer, you can also admire brand new CGI scenes in this full video, such as Yoshi showing off football tricks or Donkey Kong serving volleyball-style:
Nintendo posted one on YouTube on Friday Japanese presentation trailer, where, among other things, the new gameplay mechanic for defiling one’s own teammates was unveiled. Somewhat surprisingly, Nintendo still hasn’t shared a translated version of the Western trailer. On the Japanese website of the game, however, there are some short gameplay videos, which contain new scenes and information. In the videos, for example, applications of new game mechanics are mentioned as well as Attribute differences in direct comparison depending on the equipment chosen.
You’ll also get a closer look at what can be purchased with in-game currency Extensions for football stadiums: While a stadium initially looks like a football pitch on the village green, with enough change you can create splendid ones audience levels buy and transform the playground into a real castle. You can also find a list on the Japanese site elements, which you can now pick up via item boxes in the field. In the game, Green Tanks, Red Tanks, Bob-ombs, Mushrooms, Banana Peels and Super Stars can be used to attack opposing players or protect yourself when in possession of the ball:
It remains to be seen whether other items such as the Ice Armor or the Chain Dog will be available again or have been removed from this game.
