Questioned by her lawyer Elaine Bredehoft, the actress of Aquaman remembers having been personally selected by Depp after an audition for his film The Rum Diary. At the time, they were both still taken, but things apparently cracked while filming in Puerto Rico. When they saw each other again about a year and a half later during the film’s promotional tour, they kissed for the first time off camera. Heard was single at the time, Depp also separated from Vanessa Paradis. Amber Heard described to the court jury how Depp wooed her, took her to exotic places, gave her gifts and also wowed her family with presents.

She fell in love quickly and intensely, she says. She still remembers the first time Johnny Depp was violent towards her. “I’ll never forget it. It changed my life,” Heard said. The trigger was reportedly Depp’s upper arm tattoo.

Johnny Depp’s alleged first violent outburst

After his split from Winona Ryder, the actor went from “Winona Forever” to “Wino Forever.” “I was sitting on the couch having a normal conversation. He was drinking. I think he was taking cocaine because there was a jar – a jar – of cocaine on the table. There were the music, he was smoking cigarettes and I asked him about the tattoo on his arm,” she said. She couldn’t see him and asked him what was on his arm. “He said there was Wino standing there and I thought he was joking and laughing. He slapped me and I laughed. I laughed because I didn’t know what to do else. I thought it must have been a joke. Because I didn’t know what was going on,” Heard explained. He slapped her three times in a row.

After a few minutes, Depp broke down in tears and apologized. “He looked so sorry but I couldn’t forgive him because that means it’s going to happen again. I got up, walked to my car and didn’t say a word” , she recalls.

Medications often trigger

During their years together, drugs were often the trigger for Depp’s violent escapades, Amber Heard reported. Plus, he was extremely jealous, she said, recalling a group vacation with friends at a trailer park. There the couple used drugs with their friends, Heard himself said that she ate mushrooms. When a friend laid her head on Heard’s shoulder, Depp reportedly panicked and twisted the friend’s wrist. Back in his trailer, the situation worsened.

Depp was looking for her cocaine, Heard said, and allegedly accused her of hiding it. “He started touching me, he ripped my dress. He grabs my boobs, he touches my thighs, he rips off my underwear, then he does a strip search. He said he was looking for his cocaine, his coke,” she said. . “He just dug his fingers into me. I just stood there staring at the stupid light, I didn’t know what to do. He twisted his fingers. I didn’t stop him or anything,” sobbed- she. During their relationship, Depp was repeatedly violent, punched, pushed and threatened, Heard told the inquest.

After being questioned by Bredehoft, a cross-examination with Johnny Depp’s lawyers is underway. Amber Heard called her ex-husband “Johnny” despite always saying “Miss Heard” for the past few weeks.
